Wenn Jan Lingen ihn für echt hält, wird er auch echt sein. Es steht mir nicht zu die Koryphäen auf diesem Gebiet zu verbessern.
Mich störte allerdings die Schrift, die anders ist, als bei dem abgebildeten Exemplar im Katalog von Lansen/Wells.

Ein jeder Mensch kann sich irren, auch Lingen & Lansen.
Da sollt mann erst einer in ein alter Sammlung finden oder nachweisen können.
Oder die Punzen auf eine Münze zurückführen können.

Weisst du vielleicht auf welcher Münze die Buchstaben KB beziehung haben. Bei Krause steht bei Münzen aus dieser Zeit KB = Berlin. Staat oder Privat?

Da wissen andere vermutlich mehr als ich.
In den 1860ern gab es einen Karl Bennert, der Münzen für die staatliche Münze in Berlin entwarf. Dieser Token dürfte aber aus den 1880ern stammen.
Es könnte auch für "Kullrich Berlin" stehen. Wilhelm Kullrich war in den 1880ern Chef-Medailleur der Münze Berlin.

Ich hoffe, dass sich KAM oder Klaupo hierzu melden! Die wissen bestimmt mehr ...

K.B. steht eigentlich in der Regel für die Münze Kremnitz (ehemals K.u.K., heute Slowakei), die im fraglichen Zeitraum von 1868-1918 in Betrieb war. Für die jüngere Vergangenheit ist bekannt, daß diese Münze auch private Prägeaufträge ausführte. Wie weit das auch für die Kolonialzeit und die Produktion von Token zutrifft, weiß ich leider nicht. Kullrich darf man vernachlässigen, er signierte mit dem Kürzel W.K., wenn er seinen Namen nicht vollständig auf seine Arbeiten setzte.

Hallo KB gibt es tatsächlich auch für Berlin, womöglich die Abkürzung für Königliche/kaiserliche Münze Berlin. Hier ein Stück, das tatsächlich in Berlin geprägt wurde:

Mit viel Verspätung (nur Oberflächenbetrachtung).

Ohne die Typen zu kennen, sieht mir der Untere sehr typisch auf alt gemacht aus. Der 4er sieht da von der Oberfläche her schon besser aus.
