Thank You Otakar and Walker! What does it mean: "Vergl. Saurma 1006, Abb. 443 (1/2 Batzen) -Wappen"  And whats the degree of rarity of this two coins? I have Ernst von Bayern Pfennig also (Passauer coat-of-arms with E), and I know thats a common one. Happy New Year! Regards Szilard |

Saurma 1006, abb. 443 (1/2 Batzen)- Wappen" means Compare to Saurma 1006, plate 443 (1/2 Batzen) " -" means maybe without emblem" Best regards sulcipius edit: Explanation to the embleme: You can also find the triform embleme on the "Half Batzen" and that is why the Pfennig ( which is not listened in the Saurma, and also not pictured there) is refered to the Bishop Fröschl. On the full Batzen, there is a four-part embleme with two frogs. |
